it starts coming off after a month and you never can get the air bubbles out
The solution was to cut the product just to cover the screen. The photo doesn't show, but this product actually covers the entire front surface of the VX8550. Now it clings really well and never gets caught on anything and stays flat. This means that there are two narrow, curved extensions of the material that covers the left and right of the navigation wheel, and taper to a point on both sides just below the wheel. These don't have enough surface area for the static cling to remain flat, and the tapered points also catch on fabric. It's perfectly clear and reduces glare very nicely making the screen extremely visible. And you can't beat this price.
I purchased two, and the other one was the same flawed design. It is stiff plastic, one piece design that partially wraps around the navigation wheel. The design of this screen protector has changed, it is NOT the same as what is pictured here. My emails to the seller went unanswered, I just wasted my money on something that went in the trash at the end of the day. It's ill fitting to begin with, but the adhesive isn't strong enough to hold it in place. It didn't even last one day. The next day I went to my cell phone company and purchased a far better quality screen protector for $1.00. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
The picture is not accurate the plastic goes all around the disc. No insrtuction's not that it is brain surgery to put it on. Bought this product, received it in a week or so. At this point the first one is toast because you have already used the adhesive and failed. But you really have to clean your phone even if it is new with alcohol. Then it still doesnt stick, then you have take the other one and cut it in half because it is to big. Maybe the second one will stick, maybe not. Dont even waste your time, spend more get more.
This screen protector is good, except that it goes all the way down and around the scroll wheel (it doesn't cover it up though). If you don't like it covering up that much, then a pair of scissors can easily fix it.
